This is the statement of a mosque Imam who sodomized, killed, and hung a 7 year old child in Lahore, Pakistan four days ago. Watch him nonchalantly admit in detail what he did, at [what looks like] a press conference. The videos in Urdu, so heres an abridged translation (thanks to Alishba Zarmeen): --- I am here to admit, at my own will and without any coercion from the police who have treated me very well, the crime that I have committed. Allah has granted me the strength to express the truth, and to take lesson from this that a man can admit the truth (of his crime). These officers & leaders have been talking & explaining to me daily that I should tell the truth if I dont want my future & my life in the Hereafter ruined. I am going to tell the truth because I fear Allah. About this child, when I got out of the Masjid [mosque] after my duties, at about 8:30, I saw his Imama [religious cap] fallen on the stairs. I saw the child outside the Masjid and asked him to come inside to get his Imama. Children trust the people they know, so he agreed to accompany me, because I am a respectable Imam of the Masjid, by the grace of Allah. From the stairs, you can see the prayer hall, where a man, Abid Bhai, was busy praying. The timing was good, so I took the child to the upper corner of the staircase and gave him his cap. At that time, Satan took over me, and I did what I did [sodomized the child]. It was a matter of about 15-20 minutes. After that, I ran the knife across his throat. I was very scared and decided to run. Everyone commits crimes. I admit I just ended up committing a bigger crime, for which I hope Allah will forgive me. I admit I made a mistake. Satan took over me. I got to the first floor of the Masjid, washed the knife and my clothes, and I left. No one could suspect me, because Allah has graced me with lots of respect for being the Imam of a Masjid. Everyone commits crimes. You may ask me why I did what I did. There are some basic things in people, everyone has some hidden things in their heart. Satan took over me. I hope Allah will forgive me. The police did not coerce me, hurt me, or torture me. They havent even laid a hand on me. They have given me clean, sweet water, food, and they have been treating me like a VIP. I am telling the truth out of my own will. ---
