This is the syllabus of the course in English Literature, which will be taught by Prof Nilufer Bharucha and Prof. Rajeswaran A COURSE IN THE APPRECIATION OF ENGLISH LITERATURE This is a preliminary course specifically designed for anyone in general who wants to know about literatures written in English. The only pre-requisite being an adequate level of linguistic competence in the English language and a bent of mind that may be defined as sensitive. However, this course will also appeal to students of literature who want to walk down memory lane and brush up their knowledge of the subject. A DETAILED SESSION PLAN Part I 1.
