This is the tale of a close call of a grocery store bag. Driving to work this morning on a very busy three lane road and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a grocery store bag blow onto the highway and into the center lane. I found myself a little worried for the little guy that it might get run over. As luck might have it the bag blew past the speeding cars without incident onto the opposite side of the road and get stuck in the bushes. Even though the bag in an inanimate object, I saw myself routing for it to make it across. As our state prisoners one day will clean the debris from the road, I felt a sense of relief that my little bag friend will live to make it to a recycling bin. Sometimes my imagination gets the better of me but never leaves me with a dull moment no matter how silly the situation makes me think.
