This is the third case in this year when a lady cop has been molested in the capital. This one was more shocking, this lady SI was not only molested but was thrashed and beaten too, not very late in night. But, have these miscreants got that much of daring all of a sudden yesterday? No this daring develops over the period of time due to inefficiency & negligence of Police. These goons must have been molesting other girls in the area for long back, but no action or ineffective actions from law enforcing agencies would have removed the fear of law from the minds of animals like these. Anyway, only common men fear from cops, criminals no more. Reason, Police is quick in breaking bones or teaching lessons to common citizens who dare to raise the voice asking them to fulfil their duties. Now, people would ask about inaction of members of public in this or similar case. But think when these people do not fear of Khaki and can beat a SI publicly, how a powerless citizen can show the braveness to stop them. Even if some shows at the moments, he will have to face the consequences later as no one is going to care about his safety, at least Poilce will not as it is busy in chaukidari of VIPs and hafta vasooli from poor.
