This is the tip that my 21 day Fix Fitness & Nutrition Focus group received today so I thought I would share with you as it is sooo important! Eating alkaline foods is essential to your bodies health.. Eating foods that are too acidic can cause things like fatigue, gum and teeth problems, a lowered immune system which means you will get sick more frequently, pain and inflammation, weigh gain and premature aging! It also helps to keep cancers away. Alkaline foods help to balance the pH of our blood therefore helping to combat all these issues! Heres a list of the top 7 most alkaline foods. To insure that my body stays in an alkaline state I take 1 alkaline green packet a day and put it into my SUPERfoods smoothie. This was something I started back when doing our Ultimate Reset Program which is 21 days of 100% clean eating and supplements that gets your body into an alkaline state. I highly recommend doing this cleaning out of your system once a year! I really noticed a difference not having my green pack while on my cruise.
