This is the true account of events and not the fantasy version, as written by this horrible excuse for a human being. A couple of days ago I had to put money in my back to pay the council tax. Now people who know me realise how much difficulty I have with walking, mobility in general so my progress from the old post office car park in Halton Lea to the Nationwide was slow, painfully slow. On approach to the cashpoint outside there was a female at the window, I was where the old Cousins café used to be. By the time I reached the machine the person had gone and was rounding the corner past Tesco’s heading towards the square. I took my card out but the machine would not take it on till I noticed money still in the dispenser. Now I will not lie, I was tempted to put the money in my pocket but being on my arse as I am I thought about how much this person might need this money so I kept it in my hand so as to hand it in in the bank when I went in. There was no need, the dimwit who left the money approached me as I was making a cash withdrawal, asked “is that mine” said “thank you”, snatched the money and left. I did not think any more of this on till I mentioned it a couple of days later to my wife and daughter. My daughter said “ that’s funny a comment on her face book page read something like this. “I went to the cash machine and forgot my money, the man behind me made no attempt to call me or stop me just took my money, I told him to give me it back and gave the cheeky get a mouthful”. To be honest if this is how people behave today it’s no wander there are no honest people left.
