This is the type of looney BS some rabbit rescues are doing. This was posted on the rabbit article mentioned below. Since I know a few people who work for local rescues, and have known some that worked in rabbit rescues at one time, the good ones consider it to be a very unethical practice to purchase animals in order to save them. This group not only purchased these animals, they also lied to the breeder to get their hands on them. All because they dont like the idea of a rabbit being slaughtered for food. In the meantime the rabbits already in the shelter have no chance at getting a good home because the idiots brought 30 more of them in there. Oh and look at all of those *filthy* aka clean looking cages they also loaded up. Bet they threw them out since rabbit rescues dont believe in using wire cages. Probably bought the cages with them in order to get their hands on the rabbits.
