This is the ultimate reduction of the human person to being a ‘thing’ owned by the State, human beings reduced to commodities to be harvested and exploited according to the diktat of the State. As the Prisoner shouted in protest against the all consuming, all controlling State, ‘I’m not a number, I am a free man’. If you have family living in Wales tell them to find out how to opt out as soon as possible. Everyone needs to know how to opt out, because the bureaucrats won’t want you to know. It’s outrageous to be faced with the prospect of filling in a form to regain ownership of your own body!
