This is the year that we the people need to act aggressively to help repair the divide between law enforcement and the public. I believe it begins with the removal of Al Sharpton. Al Sharpton has constantly been associated with unethical actions and continues to promote civil rights in a questionable, race dividing ways. Case in point was the Tawana Brawley case where she (16 yr. old) accused 6 NYPD officers of rape and Al Sharpton was accused of helping with the fabrication of this. After 6,000 documents and 180 eye witness interviews the NY district attorney’s office proved that the entire accusation was a lie.
