This is to all the girls out there Must Read & Share... I’m beautiful. I don’t have rows of straight teeth Dark circles adorn my eyes due to lack of sleep. My hair goes haywire at times My clothes aren’t always the best. But I am what I am: Genuine, unique and graceful; also, I’m beautiful. They say I’m short They say I lack a “perfect” figure. And my skin, apparently, lacks lustre. I give them a snort It isn’t my job to impress them. My body is a blessing from Nature It wasn’t made to conform to rigorous standards of beauty. In my own way I’m beautiful. I eat what I want I don’t count calories. I’m not bothered by a mere number on weighing scales. Clothes only serve the purpose of covering my nudityI don’t care if they’re “trendy” or “ugly”. I refuse to change myself to please others. I’m obstinate and I’m beautiful. You can point out my flaws (I’m sure there is more than one) But let me tell you, You’re clutching at straws. Your efforts to deter me are futile. You think you’re being brutal and I hate to break the news, but Regardless of what you say, I think I’m beautiful. They tried to choke my skin with cosmetics: Concealer, foundation and lipsticks. They tried to squeeze me into torturously tight clothes: Turns out I needed to “lose a few kilos”. I fled; I was Terrified at the thought of transforming into A live skeleton caked with chemicals. I knew I didn’t need all that And I never will, because I’m beautiful ##dr. Richardson
