This is to announce that Bukidnon State University External Studies Center (BSU ESCs) in Misamis Oriental will continue to operate and accept enrollment this school year. The Commission on Higher Education Chairperson Patricia Licuanan has agreed to keep open all BSU ESCs in Misamis Oriental, therefore it can continue to accept enrollees at all levels. DepEd Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro FSC has also agreed to let BSU ESCs use the facilities of Deped for its classes. I would like to thank our national leaders in education for their understandng and generosity to our less previleged youth of Misamis OrientaI. Furthermore, I would like to thank all those who steadfastly supported this cause, all Mis. Or. Provincial Board Members, Governor Bambi Emano, the Mayors, Vice Mayors, Kagawads-Chairpersons Commitee on Education, Superintendents of Mis. Or. and Gingoog City , DepEd Regional Director, BSU Center Administrators and Student Leaders. I would also like to thank Congressman Rufus Rodriguez for helping us lobby with the leaders of Deped and CHED for the continued operation of BSU ESCs in Mis. OR.
