This is to inform 2013 University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) aspirants that the much- awaited school cut-off mark for admission of candidates for the 2013/2014 academic session has been announced. Unlike departmental cutoff marks which take into consideration the average of the candidates’ JAMB UTME and UNN PUTME scores, the general school cutoff mark takes into consideration only the candidates’ PUTME scores. This implies that no matter what a candidate scores in JAMB UTME, if s/he does not get up to school’s post-UTME cutoff mark, s/he will not be eligible for admission because the post-UTME cutoff mark forms part of the minimum entry requirement of the school. The school has declared a post-UTME score of 180 as the minimum score (school cut-off mark) that qualifies a candidate to be considered for admission in the 2013/2014 academic session. UNN aspirants who did not score up to 180 in the post UTME should not hope for admission and are hereby advised to consider their other school choices. Now for those who scored 180 or above in 2013 UNN post-UTME, bear in mind that (contrary to the rumours you read on many blogs and facebook pages) UNN is going to use the average of UTME and PUTME scores to determine her departmental cut-off marks. It may also interest you to know that the departmental cutoff marks are already coming out and we are going to be making them available in our FacebookForum as we gather them . If you are already a member of that Forum, you are advised to stay in touch. If you are not yet a member, you can request to join by clicking this link: myunndreams From all indications, the school might be getting ready to publish her primary admission list soon. While we wait for that, I need to also enjoin all those who are yet to see their post UME result (especially the second choice candidates) to patiently wait for it because it will soon be released too. Finally, don’t just read this vital information and walk away. Kindly use the share button below to share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Best wishes y’all….
