This is too cute not to share! Diego is a therapy dog. We use him for children in treatment foster care. He is very loving and gentle. This is the little chick that I was sure would die. He aspirated fluid during the hatch and stopped progress. In spite of the general rule not to help them, I knew he would die if I didnt. I ended up having to bathe him in warm water to soften the membrane enough to get it off his beak/nostrils/eyes/wings and neck. He survived. When I took him out I see if he could walk, he snuggled right into Diego. :)
