This is truth! Thanks for sharing Joe Farinella. Whats sad and wrong with NASCAR is under the original points system the last two weeks would have been lethal to Johnson. But under the Chase he can finish dead last the next 7 races and still start the Chase in first place. They know it and dont think they havent put their best pieces away until September. Twice already in seasons in which Johnson was the Champion both Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon surrendered over 300 point leads at the start of the Chase as Carl Edwards surrendered a lead as well which in reality Johnson should only be a 3 time champion. My point is if you dont think these guys arent stroking when they know are in the Chase your in fantasy land. This is what leads to the boring horrible racing we see and all the empty seats. Think Im kidding then why is Bristol still advertising tickets for its night race. Also wouldnt hurt if NASCAR started getting drivers who got their rides because they still had racing in their blood and didnt just fit the corporate image.
