This is unpopular. But, I will have my take. I disagree with the killing of Sheikh Maburi. I do not condone at all acts of terrorism. Killing of innocent people in church. However, I dont also agree even if the killing has to do with his stand on terrorism; his reckless rants in George Okaris video; or because there is truth that he recruits, arms and commands terrorists. If all above is true, the guy was a criminal. His actions were criminal. Maybe he deserved to die too. This misguided actions are going to radicalize more wayward people. We did not need to make Makaburi a matyr. In a civilized society only court processes should have jurisdiction to determined that. Extrajudicial killing is for some time sounds and feels good until those blood thirsty come visiting your door. Here is the dilemma. Was Makaburi killed by police or a hit squad? Does our government have official hit squads? If they do have, then we have criminality in government. Therefore, it is a criminal government. This madness of killings by criminal or government must stop!
