This is us today. Jensen is sleepy/grumpy and Im sick. The last thing Jensen needs with a pleural effusion is to get a cold, so we are trying to be careful but he also wants mama around so its going to be tough. Jensen is finally negative, meaning he peed more out than he took in! Thats exactly what we have been needing him to do and his X-Ray looked better this morning! He is having labs drawn in an hour and Im thinking they will look better too. Jensen is still very sleepy but we are getting him up and moving as much as possible. Hes already been on a wagon ride this morning. Hes also getting an appetite back and ate two fruit pouches, a bite of bacon, a few bites of pancake and some milk this morning! This is major progress and we are thrilled about him eating! He has been on 0.5 L of oxygen and satting 85 for the last 12+ hours which is awesome! He needs to continue to pee and gradually increase his eating. He is having occupational and physical therapy today so he is going to be wiped out!
