This is very cool. It the the M/V Susitna. it is a SWATH catamaran (two hulls that are submerged.) this give it great stability and speed. It is also an icebreaker, the first of its type. but what makes it really cool is that the cargo deck can be lowered to watter level and it floats. this causes the draft (depth in the watter) to go from 12 feet to 4.5 feet, turning the high speed boat into a landing craft.
