This is very interesting: I have a tapered topette in green, and just received a nice chambered topette in green from Marc. These green topettes are often confused with ouraline, but typically, do not glow under backlight, meaning they do not have uranium oxides in the glass, which is a requirement for ouraline glassware. This chambered topette however, DOES glow under backlight, and as you can see the stopper from the other one, does not glow at all. So, when you see these green topettes, now we know under normal light, you simply cant tell if they contain uranium! I believe most do not. Besides, just because it glows, does not make it ouraline; classic French ouraline is a much more delicate shade of yellow-green. This topette is uranium glass, however. This does not matter to me anyway, as I love colored topettes for how they look in normal light!
