This is very interesting! I know a few people who did this and they were very happy with the results. Id like to do this myself. I am curious about what it would show. I know my maternal side fairly well, but am very sketchy when it comes to my fathers. Recently, I did manage to finally locate my paternal grandfather. I know his ancestors came from Lithuania. Which is similar to my grandmothers. But other than that, the details are missing. Its tough when you dont know the names and or their death certificates cannot be found in the Census or any of the other geneology sites.
