This is very useful. I have met Dave Pimentel many times. But my caveat is that Climate Chaos/Collapse could be a huge wild card. This is in agreement with much of what Guy McPherson, I and many others have been saying. The big cities are the worst. And the Southwest is worst of all by any measure. But there remains another factor that I have long talked about. That is being where you have friends, family and support, being where you know your way around. There are always trade offs and not everything can be measured completely from a Cartesian viewpoint. There are no perfect answers and with each passing day the ability of most to relocate diminishes as things become more unstable. But this is another piece of ample warning for those in the most threatened and vulnerable areas.
