This is what I have been noticing about information being handed - TopicsExpress

This is what I have been noticing about information being handed out on Ebola. 1. When Dr. Kent Brantley was brought back to Emery - he was taken directly to a top notch isolation room. We were all assured there was no way the virus could get out of that containment area. We were all told this was the ideal place for someone with such a virulent virus. Now, in Dallas, we are being lead to believe any ole isolation unit in a hospital can contain the ebola virus. Okay. 2. We were initially told the incubation period was 21 days. If you check out the CDC website it says 8-10 days or anywhere from 2-21 days. That 8-10 days is a big difference from the initial 21 days. Heck 2-21 days pretty much says to me - they dont know you have it until you get a fever. Now last I checked they cant even detect it in your system until your symptomatic. In other words - your already sick. 3. Now this guy was fine when he left the airport in Liberia on the 19th. His temp was taken and must have been fine. He boarded a plane with multiple connecting flights to get to the United States. He lands on the 20th. Goes to the home of his family, then on the 24th he starts with the flu like symptoms and goes to a doctor. Doctors office does some tests and sends him home. Then he returns on the 26th and is admitted. According to health officials he was just tested for Ebola yesterday (the 29th) and as we all know the results came in today- so I guess its a good thing the Texas health authorities have been cleared to test for Ebola on the 26th...... Are you still following me? Now early on, when Dr. Kent Brantley came to the U.S. more than one doctor came out and said - the Ebola virus can live on surfaces for 6 days. That basically means - Ebola does not need to be airborne. So, all those who are worried about catching Ebola through the air - need not be worried about that - because all you have to do is touch a counter top after it has been touched by an infected person - then touch your face. If I were a person on any of those planes I would be very nervous right now. Heck your skin has small breaks - so technically you dont even have to touch your face. Now, it is not my intent to make anyone scared - but the numbers for incubation have already changed - they are making light of it not being airborne. So - what else dont we know? They do know there are people infected right now in Africa - and they cant figure out how they were infected. I think someone needs to get it together and stop all these flights from Africa - and get their stories straight.
