This is what I posted on the thread I am sharing... Thing of it is, and it is what peeves me the most, is that there are those who abuse the system. Those who really need it get so little because of the abuse of the few who are able-bodied and the only contribution to society is spreading their legs and propagating a new generation. I receive SNAP benefits because I am disabled because of back injuries received while working. I worked all my life and supported those people, just like everyone else. I complained about them, as well. I have always said the system needs to be changed so that those who are trying to better their situation and get off government assistance are given better treatment than those who just sit back and rack in the money. I want out of the system but if I earn $25 more a month (which will bring my yearly income to $10,500) I lose everything...instead of allowing a person to work and pay even a small amount back into the system, we are penalized and forced to stay in the system...
