This is what I said just a few months ago. Great job alternet keep it up. I love police I have great friends who dont like me anymore because I view this state to afford these officers too much power. It is our actions that bring on the need for our officers to harness this power and the reason I believe that we need to elevate the culture. The conversation needs to change and the story evolved to keep the culture on the track to harmony. It is not anyone officer that is the problem...it is not any one among us that causes the distortion...it is the conscious dominating the will in all of us that rejects change. Change must begin in all of us individually to be seen collectively. I post many things that embrace that mind set ...not because I am or believe it should be based on my desire but because of what is and how it has become that I desire to see it become a reality for all. Its a difference in understanding the forces at play. Marvin Gaye said it best in the 70s with his song whats going on. dont punish me with brutality just talk to me so that you can see whats going on... Just talk to the hobo, give a quarter of your time and see how they are doing...just talk to see whats going on. Change his story while they change your story. Then youll see whats really going on.
