This is what a day looks like at Minnies Food Pantry where the president Cheryl Jackson spends her time finding ways to get the word out that...People Are Hungry. I had the blessing of visiting the food pantry which looks more like a grocery store Hollywood style. In fact I also had the blessing of spending days with the likes of Hollywood...Regina King, Michelle Williams, Fred Hammond, Donnie Mc Clurkin, Viki Yohe, Kenny Lattimore,Arian Simone Reed,Hart and Alethia Ramsey and so many more...The Amazing Jackson family and Cheryl herself along with such an AMAZING staff just moved my heart. I have never been so spoiled, loved and of course loved on. We girls spent a day in Cheryls suite without Red Bottoms, Channel bags, diamonds and pearls...and lounged around in Doo rags...Hair pins...bare feet...and tees, sipping tea and coke as the gala all came together We shared stories with Artis Jackson around the fireplace and laughed and cried at Ruths Chris Steakhouse. We celebrated the many volunteers that put time and effort making Cheryls dream to feed the hungry come true, and you wonder why I love her so much.
