This is what a gun culture that refuses to accept rational restraint by quoting the second amendment...an amendment that does not work in our current cultural context...creates. I know I have friends here that believe differently and I respect that. But if we do not do something it is this extreme that keeps getting pushed. Over 70% of citizens support some limits on gun and ammunition and registration delays for criminal background check. If we live in a democracy-something I am doubting more and more- then a national referendum should occur. Then accept the majority.
