This is what confuses me. We sent 12 astronauts to the moon using a fraction of the computer power that our kids were using a few years ago on their personal phones. Technology of course that was spurred on by the Apollo missions. We accept this amazing technology in our hands today as if it is no big deal. The technology to send men to the moon in 1969 was cutting edge back then. Why is it that a certain percentage of people refuse to read up on the subject and realize it was not an impossible accomplishment. Is it really because the flag is waving, or there are no stars, or a shadow is out of place? This is all an insult to 400,000 people who participated in a goal of landing men on the moon. To the doubters who have legit questions......happy to help. The rest of you must be so amazed that you cannot fathom the accomplishment of talented people in the 1960s, or you are too lazy to educate yourselves.
