This is what gets me, and I promise I will quit rambling. I went into this area regularly when I went to college at UMSL. I will never forget going to McDonalds with Amenti Willis. Eyes bored holes in the back of my head. I remember giggling and asking what the deal was. She laughed and told me I was pink. Haha That day seemed comical until I met more friends of friends who explained to me in detail how racism runs rampant through their community. This was well before this shooting. Im not advocating for violence by NO MEANS, but people only know what theyre taught. So many people are viewing their anger as ignorance. I dont believe that to be the case. They feel wronged. And as an outsider looking in, they let that man lay in the street for a rediculous amount of time. They are refusing to answer anyones questions. That looks terrible. If he attacked the officer and all of this was justified. Talk to them, theyre people!! Just my thoughts. Still heartbreaking....
