This is what happens when a saddle fitter tells a pony owner that her ponys 15 back can handle a 17 saddle and the rear panels are putting so much pressure on both the tree points and the rear panels. The white spots were even on both sides. Picture #1 shows all the white hairs and damage. The owner said this happened in one for hour ride! Picture #2 is the 17 saddle that is bridging and goes 4 beyond the last rib (& T18). She said that her pony would pee 3 times an hour while on a trail ride . I suggested it was probably because it was resting on his kidneys and the floating ribs! Picture #3 shows a 15 saddle on his back where the rear panel meets his last rib. Picture #4 is her on this postage stamp of a saddle. Its a good thing she is tiny however the saddle is way too small for her. My suggestion is if she is not comfortable in this saddle ($500 budget) she needs a custom saddle or bigger pony! He actually had so much movement in this little saddle she couldnt keep up with him.🐎🐎🐎👍
