Four charged after brawl, stabbings- Sydney CBD Sunday, 08 September 2013 10:00:48 AM Four people have been charged after three men were stabbed during a brawl in Sydney’s CBD overnight. Emergency services were called to the car park of licensed premise on Macquarie Street just before 12.30am (Sunday 8 September 2013) following reports of a brawl. Officers from The Rocks Local Area Command attended and found three men – aged 29, 26 and 22 –with stab wounds. It’s believed a fight broke out inside the bar before it moved to the nearby car park. A 31-year-old security guard was also injured after being struck with a bar stool when he attempted to intervene. All four injured men were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital. Six men were arrested at the scene and taken to both Surry Hills and City Central police stations. Four men have now been charged and two released pending further inquiries. A 28-year-old Roselands man was charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm; assault occasioning actual bodily harm; and affray. A 26-year-old Belmore man was charged with malicious wounding with intent; and affray. A 27-year-old Greenacre man was charged with affray, while another 27-year-old Greenacre man was charged with armed with intent. All four have been bail refused to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 8 September 2013
