“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:2-3 NIV Some people find it difficult to believe in God. The more knowledge we acquire, the more difficult it can be; starting with the fact that in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. We who believe can argue with those who dont and no one ever wins the debate. Why is it that there are many who are highly educated, above average in intelligence and well versed in the sciences who believe? If any of us could ever make a case against God and His claim to have created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it you would think they could, but they cant. With all of the knowledge they have they cant disprove Gods word to themselves, nor prove Gods word to others. Why? The answer can be found in this verse. We who believe have called on God. Those who dont have not and for many it would be very difficult to do; the more knowledge they have the more difficult it can be. If they could only open the door a little; just enough to ask God with a little humility, God would do the the rest as promised. Only God can open anyones eyes to His truth and only if we ask. Once He does we cant deny Him because of what we know that only God can reveal to us. To all who wish to debate with me I can only offer this challenge. Call on God with the tiniest belief in the possibility that He is who He claims to be. Ask Him to open your eyes to His truth. Next read His word not trying to disprove Him, opening your mind to the slightest possibility that what He says could be true. You might be surprised at how He answers! All of Gods promises are true!
