In this case it was petty retaliation by an employee using the assumed power of her company, her lies, and an attempt to censor the customers complaint. The fact that a gate agent used the force of her office to punish a passenger for complaining about the quality of service she provided, threatened to make a (false) police complaint, forced him (and his children) to deplane until he apologized and deleted a negative tweet is so far outside of acceptable. If anyone should be afraid of anyone, we should be afraid of an employee of Southwest Airlines that doesnt see anything wrong with harassing passengers and threatening their safety and rights, and we should be afraid of an airline that even has employees that would consider acting like this.
