This is where Delaneys Parmacy was at (the vacant part of the building with the for rent sign) in Palm Shopping Center. It is now just a vacant building with the floor tile removed and no ceiling tiles. When this shopping center was built Delaneys was still at 114 South Velasco (1963 phone book) near center of town and it was a short period of time when they moved in----The stores that did move in were Dr Thomas (dentist), Foodtown, Rose and Molina Mens Store (soon to open) USS Green Stamp redemption center, Perry Brothers Variety Store, and the A. C. Moore Barber Shop----Formal opening was Thursday, Fri, and Sat December 7, 8, and 9, 1961 from Angleton Times----opening was attended by John Newman, Sam Ross, Rick Lewis (manager of Perry Brothers) and A. C. Moore. Dr B G Peck president of the Angleton Chamber of Commerce was also in attendance
