This is where I feel that people go wrong. No one should be making - TopicsExpress

This is where I feel that people go wrong. No one should be making any bold statements about the weekend because there is too much uncertainty. The way I handle it right now is over the next two sets of models I am trying to determine if an inland or out to sea track is out of the question. If it appears like that by tomorrow evening then I will work on focusing on the exact track of the low up the coast and strength/speed and timing, all the specifics. The only things we know pretty well right now is that temperatures will be chilly on Saturday but not overly cold. We also know a Low Pressure will move through the south and then take a turn towards the coast. This leaves a wide range of possibilities. If the Low stays too close to the coast there will be rain to snow type of event due to temperatures being up a bit. If it tracks the right distance off the coast it will be a heavy wet snowstorm and if it tracks too far off the coast it would just be some light snow or nothing. Anyone who says this is for sure a snowstorm or for sure a rain storm is kidding themselves at this point. Lots left to be figured out that will ultimately decide the outcome of this storm. Relax. Like I said earlier, lets get this clipper out of the way tomorrow and then we can really dive into the weekend.
