This is where Japan is heading now. They have achieved so much since their defeat in WWII. A devastating defeat with two atomic bombs being dropped in the country annihilating two big cities. In a relatively short period of 70 years Japan can be considered the worlds leader in robotics and artificial intelligence. Where is Malaysia heading now? We have already achieved independence for close to 60 years (only 10 years less than Japan from the defeat in WWII). Where are we now? We are still fighting over the supremacy of a race. We are still arguing over our own identity.i,e that is whether we are an Islamic country or not. Our leaders are clueless as to what they are doing and groping in the dark. As a result they let the extremist and ultra ignorant run the country and is getting out of control like Perkasa and Isma. Daily they spew hatred and making barbaric declaration and statements and claims like chopping of heads of those whom they deem insulting Islam and the Sultan of Selangor. Of course they proudly declare that they are doing it to defend Islam and the Sultan. Are they? And of course do not forget the sidekick ultra kiasu Ridhuan Tee, a total embarrassment for everyone in the country. To top it off for the week we have our Prime Minister who was reported to have pick a terrorist group in Iraq to be the role model of bravery for members of his party UMNO Baru. He has been living a double life all this while. In the international front he has been projecting a fair and moderate stand, calling on the world to be moderate, upholding fairness and human rights. Once he is on home ground he is a totally different person, allowing the extremists to run wild with no restraints. He even seemed to allow the IGP to defy the civil court order without even a word of reprimand.
