This is where Kayla and I got engaged. I did not have a set plan on where I was going to do this, but once we got here I knew this was the place. I purchased a Bayern Muenchen jersey that she could wear at the game we were going to and had Ross put on the back; I gave it to her first. Well.. she didnt really seem to question the fact it had my last name on the back. (I was hoping she would question it and then I could tell her that we could change her name- then give her the ring) But, I guess it didnt seem odd to her that it said Ross. :) So I tried to bait her into questioning the name and then gave her the ring. When I got down on one knee she thought I was joking. (and said something along the lines of Youre not funny) But she said yes! Museum Island in Berlin. The Cathedral is the Berliner Dom, and the TV Tower is behind. The Altes Museum is on the left (so the location, I guess, has some connection to my love of ancient history) And the music you hear in the background was a live performance of a piano and violin player that I hired at my expense to set the mood. (Actually they were street performers that just happened to be playing at that location at that time, haha)
