This is where the Libertarians dont get it. Many of them think that freedom means freedom from the consequences. But, you will put me in jail if I refuse to pay my taxes; Yep. But none of your freedoms have been abridged. But you are stealing from me. Yep, but none of your freedoms have been abridged. For some reason Libertarians cannot come up with a functional definition of freedom. Oh well. What I said will seem like statist nonsense to many people. What is astounding to me is that so many cannot even sculpt their thought process sufficiently to develop a model in which my statements make sense. It is not a matter of accepting this model, just understanding the logic of it and understanding the implications. They cant do that. This one of the ways that belief kills thought. Their brains will not even let them think about the statist nonsense. It is just stupid. Why waste the time thinking about stupid things? Yep, why indeed.
