This is who I am voting for tomorrow for STATE school board. I am voting for someone who doesnt have political ties or a desire to politically tie us up with DC...or more federal money, and who LEGALLY as a lawyer will be a voice of reason at the state level that can work at untangling us, from the legal financial/political binds that the state board of education has burdened us with, by compromising state and local controlss....and selling out education repeatedly for federal dollars. No Child Left Behind and its burdens, and the MONEY we got hooked on like crack, eventually led to Common Core....with the promise of waivers. We have to cut some serious reliance on federal money if we hope to be locally and fiacally independant, from federal oversite and burdens, and agendas.
