This is why I am Per Trib...... I listen to a man preach and teach for many, many years, and this is what he taught........ Why Gods Purpose for the Tribulation excludes the Church...... Israel and the world has a few years left, before everything changes ..... Deuteronomy 30:7-8 Gods purpose for the tribulation, revolves around His plan for the nation of Israel and does not include an earthly presence for the church....... The seven year, 70th week of Daniel........ Why is this you say..........? Because Gods plan for Israel is unfinished..... When the role of the church, those who excepted by Faith, the free gift that God offers through, The Shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross, is completed, she, The Church, The Called out ones, The Overcomers, The Ekklesia, Those who TRUST Gods Word, will be taken as a completed body, to heaven in an instant ( in a twinkle of and eye ) at the rapture. The Bible teaches us as Christians, that the tribulation is a time of preparation for Israels restoration and conversion............ Read.......... Deut. 4:29-30;... Jer. 30:3-11;... Zech. 12:10......... In light of all the evidence: exegetical, lexical, contextual, and theological, I think it is best to take the word apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as a reference to a physical departure, namely the Rapture. This view is shared by such notable scholars as Tommy Ice, Tim LaHaye, J. Dwight Pentecost, Kenneth Wuest, Allen MacRae, E. Schuyler English, Stanley Ellison, H. Wayne House, and others.
