This is why I dont stalk actors; even actors I like. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer but I have zero interest in Sarah Michelle Gellar. I love Firefly (and I even like Adam Baldwins character Jane...sort of) but Adam Baldwin is a douche bag. Some actors roll in so much shit that its hard to ignore it (Mel Gibson) but generally I just try to accept the work and keep it separate from the lives of those that are making it. Evey now and again an actor comes along where they seem generally awesome and I may develop a crush (Ewan McGreggor) but I dont seek them out and my few interactions with celebrities, while memorable, are odd...and leave me feeling...well, odd. Living in Manhattan I have access to lots of places where things are being filmed and could probably camp out and see some of my favorites...but in the end, I dont really love them; I love the characters they play and thats enough for me...and part of me being grateful for their work is giving them their space to do it in, I guess. My point is...I love Jane and I always will; but Adam Baldwin is a dick. I knew this already (hes said some offensive things in the past) but the more he talks the less I want to see anything new that hes doing. It helps that in Firefly hes an ass and stupid. Its almost like he got a great role in something...but he was typecast as a stupid ass, who occasionally gets something right. Oh...Hes in Angel too but SPOILER hes a villain and killed by the hero so I can still enjoy that as well. :)
