This is why I love and respect Dr. A. A. Bilal Phillips, may Allaah preserve him. And I didn’t say worship him or his personality. Since the late 80’s I often hear young African-American men call each other and respond with, “fool” as a term of endearment. No less a figure than one of my favorite actors, Al Pacino, used this term addressing Security when he is entering a mostly African-American club in one of my favorite films, “Heat”. This reply from Dr. Bilal regarding Muslim men, with a Family, sometimes with two, three, or four wives, all of whom are on Welfare and the reply from two “Muslim brothers”. Listen to the sober reply by Dr. Bilal to these two “Fools”, which is often missing in the discourse regarding what’s wrong with the “Black Community”, and often dismissed as, “somebody in my bidness (sic)”. Listen to these two “fools”: Solomon Freed job is worship . ok , i hope u will ask ur shake and be sure. even in the Quran being able to work is a gift from Allah. and if some insane [those who think they are challenging scholar ] do not use what Allah give them , they will be asked . when u live in any country u have to respect the law of that country . if the law is not preferable by u , then what r u doing their ? go back to where u come from and stay with killing & hunger ! Zak Gofree Thats where ur wrong Dr. Philips the Muslims living in dar al harb in the west should be exploiting and taking welfare money which is a form of ghanimah so that money isn’t used for attacking and killing Muslims by the kuffar armys that are attacking Muslim countrys stealing and exploiting are natural recourses and propping up of corrupt brutal oppressive dictator s that dont rule by sharia who make the living conditions so bad that Muslims have to go and live in kuffar countries in the first place, so please Dr. Philip’s quit being exploited by the kuffar by being there propaganda mouth piece for the kuffar and go back to the Sunnah Note: Arabic Glossary Dar al Harb, e. g. land of he disbelievers Kuffar, e. g. disbelievers Sunnah, e. g. way of Prophet Muhammad and his Companions Ghanimah, e. g. In classical Islam, wealth taken by force from an enemy in times of war
