This is why I love being a dad. I came home from work the other night and there was a surprise waiting for me. My daughter is getting into baking. And she had made some cupcakes. She left two of them for me on the counter right where I always put my car keys. There was also a note telling me that there was an already poured glass of milk for me in refrigerator. And just so everyone would know that the milk was for me, there was a note taped to it that said simply: Dad You may notice that the cupcakes aren’t frosted. I asked my wife the next day: “Why didn’t she frost them.?” My wife said in a very animated way: “I took us an hour to bake them! It took me an hour to get her to clean up the mess! I didn’t have another hour to help her frost them!” I can’t really argue with that. It’s not easy being a mom. That’s why I love being a dad.
