This is why Star the 7,5mnth old Pittie girl has tears..... she has endured 10 days of hell.... owner went on holiday , left her in the care of the garden boy & she broke her foot which she then chewed off (thats his story) . He brought her through to us (from Brits ?) for medical care. I told him he had 2 options- 1: get her to a vet & pay-she will need a clean amputation & it will cost $$$ - he said he couldnt pay. 2: He could surrender her & we WOULD ensure she would get medical care. I warned him if he drove out with her & she didnt get medical he would be reported & prosecuted for animal cruelty/neglect. He surrendered Star..... she has never been vacced or dewormed- so that was done straight away, the stump has been cleaned, dressed & bandaged... before anything is done we need to get her temp down - she is on a course of anti-biotics for that.
