This is why its important as citizens to demand and fight for transparency. Hes right - lack of transparency IS a huge political advantage - except in the case of a giant building that reminds everyone of your lack of transparency :-) Many times, government relies on the fact that citizens are too disinterested and ignorant to pay attention so they can get away with a lot.
