This is why only courts and law enforcement should be public. Everything else. And I mean EVERYTHING else should be privatized. People are so made a named someone is making a profit. But the issue is how many people are you a thallus helping. In a perfect world government could handle welfare. But that is not this world. What do you care if someone makes money if people are actually getting helped? And when I say private I actually mean private. No government intervention, subsidies, oversight, or rescue. If the government is involved the business just sees them as another source of revenue. If they are all alone they actually do what is fiscally smart. If they dont then they fall like Hostess did and lo and behold someone jumped in and took their place. Not because demand was low and the market needed help. But be ause the business model was flawed and it needed rewritten. Rewrote the plan and diabtius is on the rise again. Disaster averted.
