Coz what I wrote was based on the Devi Mahatmyam which is a Durga Saptshati and part of the Markandeya Purana. That is the oldest purana written on Devis avatars and about Kalis form who was known as Panchash Munda Malini then. It was written in 400-500 CE, which was even before the other worldly religions like Christianity and Islam. As per my knowledge, the story about Shiva being an Asura and all was a folk-tale from villages, since many Hindus dont have the habit of studying the religion from an acclaimed guru who possess validity in his teachings, they assume and come up stories to simply answer off questions and doubts that arise. So as you mentioned you knew the real thing, could you please guide me which part of the Holy books and scriptures did you extract that from? Many thanks. Well, I would only say this, we can interprate things in many different ways. But what is written in the scriptures contain valuable lessons and it weighs much heavier than our thoughts and assumptions. It is important for Hindus to seek valid Gurus to learn the Hindu religion correctly and not go pass around opinions and suggestions as to why certain things are such. Insolence, ignorance, arrogance and pride will not take us far. Thank you.
