This isnt a particularly well informed opinion but its mine upon reading through a few websites dedicated to herbalism, Im studying the effects of ajwain seed on arthritis. As it comes from India I happen to have a contact there that can ship it over in the lorry load if I need it :) Anyway, most of these websites are American and have the facility for feed back from the general public which can be handy or not, lots of Yea bud it rocks rubbish but generally people want to pass on their experiences using different things. They also want to pass on their whole life story and these sites tend to attract the weird and the wonderful, in particular satanic spiritualists!?! Each to their own I always say but there appears to be a high proportion of ex servicemen (didnt notice a post from any women). This I found quite interesting that theres such a high proportion from the American armed services practicing something a little dark shall we say. Not only that but they all feel the need to declare their years of service and achievements - The average comment is three years fighting for my country, awarded the Purple Heart, there are hundreds of these! Three years! Ive been to Indian weddings lasting longer than that (slight exaggeration but it felt like it). My grand father lied about his age and joined the RAF at 14 and retired at 70, they tried to get shot of him at 65 but my gran was having none of it and suggested he stayed a little longer to teach the boys how to darn socks, he was a master sock darner! My father was in the services from leaving school until his death, I have many friends (get me) who have been in the armed services for the whole of their working life unless theyve been forced to leave due to ill health or injury. So what is it about this type of career in the States? Is it the person or the profession? Dont get me wrong anyone who serves their country in whatever way has my utmost respect and obviously due to Americas involvement in recent conflicts means theres going to be a high number of people invalided out but why such short service and the Satanic interest?
