This issue of logging in our forests has been very elusive for a long time and none of our leaders has been very straight on the whole saga with indications that some of them are loggers themselves and play only public relations exercises with the the public! The County Government of Kericho and Governor Paul Kiprono Chepkwony this time round should come out clear so that the public know what the real position on this ever elusive activity is. While traveling to Nairobi, I came across a number of lorries ferrying logs as shown on these photographs. For those that I met between Kericho and Total junction I can for sure confirm that the produce came from our forests. Chances are even those I met between Total junction and Nakuru must have been ferrying produce from our forests! His Excellency Paul Kiprono Chepwony, MPs Benjamin Langat, Panadol, Hon Jackson Rop, HON LIMO-MP KIPKELION EAST, Hellen Chepwony (Women Rep) Hon Eric Keter Milimani Kityo), Hon Justice Kemei and Senator Charles Keter and the entire MCAs team, in the Kericho County Assembly, all of you individually and collectively owe the people of Kericho County an explanation and you must stand stand up individually and be counted!
