This just in....a portion of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf state of the nation address in Liberia....via my Facebook friend Deddeh Howards page. President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf just addressed the nation. She has declared Friday, August 1 a non-working day to have public spaces disinfected. Other measures of prevention includes enforced quarantine of highly infected communities and to have all bodies cremated. She also mandated that homes and public spaces have chlorinated water at the entrance, all markets at border points closed down, schools closed down and public amusement has been discouraged. All non-essential govt staff placed on a 30-day leave (I wish I was one right now).$5 million committed by the government. [4 months late but its done....implementation now oh my people].
