This last weekend the ZYKFA Lion & Dragon (and Qilin) Dance Team had a blast at the 30th Triangle Ethnic Festival held right here in Madison. Here, for the first time, we got a decent sound recording of the Music Team working it at the event. On the video you can see/hear three of the Sar Ping beats we have been working on in the past few months. They were Taam Bou (探步), Jung Jin (中展) and Dang Saan (登山). The lions are not doing the corresponding steps at this point, however it was done later in the performance. The musicians were: Rachel D. on drum, Charles C. on gong and Andy G., Niki N. and Nate G. on cymbals. Great job ZYKFA Team! youtu.be/g-_B8zdHr2E
