This lesson is on spiritual authority. I believe with all my heart that the body of Christ is weak in this area. i had this lesson all planned out. I have study notes, Hebrew and Greek definitions, hours of study. But now i feel God wants me to listen to him and allow him to speak through me. Im going to write what he places on my heart. Man lost his dominion when Adam and Eve disobeyed in the Garden of Eden. But that authority was given back when Jesus Christ openly defeated evil spirits. The Word of God clearly states that evil spirits are real and they have only one mission. To destroy you your family, your friends and yes your church. They are spirits. The unseen enemy. James 2:19 says " Thou believest that there is one God: thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble." If you are a born again child of the living God. If your sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within you. You and I have the son, the father and the Holy Spirit in us. When will we realize we have that dominion, that authority to openly defeat these spirits that attack us on a daily basis. In Acts 19:13-15 says " Then certain vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying we adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there wer seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the Priests. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus i know, and Paul i know, but who are ye." We have authority over these spirits. But do we really know it. Do we know in our hearts, our soul, our spirit, and our minds that we are powerful through the name of Jesus Christ. Paul knew he had authority. That evil spirit knew Paul by name. They knew he could ruin there day and that they had to obey him. These spirits tremble at the name of Christ. I want to encourage you to be bold. To attack these spirits when they come against you, knowing you have the victory already. I hope and pray this lesson has helped you. May God bless all who read and follow up on these lessons.
